The debut recording of the Choir of Trinity Wall Street under Julian's direction, this colossal biblical oratorio comprises no less than twenty-eight massive double choruses, linked together by a few bars of recitative, with five arias and three duets interspersed among them. This is the most complete recording in existence of the rarely-heard 1756 version of the composition.
