The Washington Chorus: The Essential Wagner

Kennedy Center Concert Hall

Following the success of The Washington Chorus' “The Essential Puccini” in 2009 and last year’s “The Essential Rachmaninoff,” this season’s focus is on the works of Richard Wagner. THE ESSENTIAL WAGNER features favorites from his greatest operas and best-known choral highlights. The program includes gems from Lohengrin, The Flying Dutchman, Rienzi, Tannhäuser, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and more, conducted by Julian.
