The Washington Chorus, under Julian's direction, continues its award-winning series "New Music for a New Age" with the world premiere of the fully-completed folk opera OCEANIC VERSES by acclaimed young Italian composer Paola Prestini. Commissioned by Carnegie Hall, preview scenes of OCEANIC VERSES were praised by TimeOut NY for “tapping the explosive potential of multimedia collaborations" with the work's multi-channel film projections and theatrical lighting.
